![]() What I didn't realise in my haste was that this book was not a crime thriller but a romantic comedy, a genre completely out of my usual reading matter. I had previously read and enjoyed all three of the Crime thriller series featuring DCI Erika Foster written by Robert Bryndza so when I was offered the opportunity to read this novel I was thrilled. *Many thanks to Bookouture for providing my copy via NetGalley it was a privilege to provide an honest review.more Highly recommended to those who aren’t afraid to include a little fluff in their reading diet you’ll be so glad you chose not to miss out on this one! I don’t want to spoil any of the surprises, but the ending left me with a feel good lump in my chest and put me at ease in a way I haven’t experienced in some time. In fact, I would love to see some sort of continuation with the characters, or even a spin off book featuring Gran (Gran’s Gone Wild!). Clearly Natalie’s Gran stole the show and is someone I won’t soon forget. ![]() I found myself getting lost in each person’s drama and honestly wasn’t sure which man, if any, Natalie would end up with. The characters were a mixture of cute, romantic, hilarious dears that you just wanted to curl up on the couch with. I can’t express how hilarious and feel good of a novel this was, and would recommend gobbling it up anytime you’re in need of a pick me up. I’m absolutely blown away that someone can be as equally talented in writing light and fluffy romance as they are in creating a grizzly and violent crime series. While many of us know Rob’s crime fiction series featuring DCI Erika Foster, not as many recent fans have discovered his original works of the rom-com genre. With our pending move and other life stressors occurring all at once, it was refreshing and comforting to pick up a book that literally made me laugh out loud.
