This is a very nice mechanic to have in the game, as players never know when they may have bitten off more than they can chew. This includes scenes where quick-time events occur or moments where a player is struggling to stay afloat on their own. ![]() As players enjoy their single player experience, they can add a friend or stranger at any time. The game features a cooperative mode for four players. Like its predecessors, resident Evil 6 it’s about survival. Having multiple people in this game is vital to overcoming the many obstacles that are presented to the player at any given time. While players can play alone, why would they want to? Every game is better with friends. The game is cross-platform so players never run out of friends to take on the horde with. #9 bloody zombiesīloody zombies features a phenomenal co-op mode where players can choose from up to four different survivors who have teamed up to take down the variety of zombies that seem to have taken over. We’d rate this a bit lower, but at this point we’re still waiting for the Nintendo Switch port to come out this year. Teaming up with others and sticking together is a sure way to survive the night cycles. Speaking of factions, players should make sure to choose carefully as in-game choices will affect the entire game going forward. Players will craft a wide range of weapons, find supplies, and defeat the oncoming hordes of zombies together with friends of all factions. The overall feel of the game offers more of a free-roaming experience, which is a nice change from the first game. As players embark on a journey through a post-apocalyptic open world, they will encounter hideous infected humans with a taste for human flesh. #10 Dying Light 2 Stay Humanĭying Light 2 Stay Human is another action RPG horror game that is all about survival. Below are some intense zombie-like games that really stand apart from the rest in terms of co-op and multiplayer modes. Games are always better with friends, especially those where players are chased by meat-hungry mongrels.
